Anila is a specialist permanent recruitment agency for Early Years and OSHC. One sector, every role in it, across every state of Australia. That focus isn't a marketing line. It's the whole business.
It started on the floor, not in a boardroom.
Before Anila existed, our founder Andi spent 11 years in the sector: on the OSHC and early learning frontline, then in leadership, watching great services struggle with the same problem. The agencies sending them candidates had never worked a ratio, never run a program, and never had to explain a staffing gap to a family at pick up.
So in 2022 she built the agency she'd always wanted to call: one that works exclusively in childcare, tells clients the truth about the market, and treats candidates like professionals rather than resumes. That's still the whole strategy, and it shows in what our clients and candidates have to say about us.
Today Anila places people in every state, from ECTs and Room Leaders through Centre Directors and Area Managers to the executives who shape whole organisations.

Andi Kandias
Andi founded Anila in 2022 after 11 years in the sector, from the OSHC and early learning frontline through to leadership. She believes the right people in the right roles change outcomes for children, and she still runs every executive search personally.

Dimitri Kandias
Dimitri came to Anila after years helping large, complex organisations perform: strategy, operations and growth across businesses far bigger than a recruitment desk. He brings that discipline to how Anila runs, so every consultant spends their time where it counts: with clients and candidates.
